Months ago, a friend and I were talking about how we do not always have an opportunity to go clothing and accessory shopping for ourselves. As busy working moms, we just didn’t have the time, and online shopping wasn’t working because we liked to try things on first.
“Wouldn’t it be great if we had one of those mobile boutiques like they have in the South?”
The idea for Be Bella Boutique was born.
I sought to provide the same personal shopping experiences for women here in Western Mass. I wanted women of all ages and lifestyles to have the convenience of shopping from home or at events where I bring the clothing to them. An amazing opportunity presented itself, and I took a big leap of faith and purchased a truck retrofitted to be a mobile boutique. I named it Be Bella Boutique after a beloved aunt.
Be Bella Boutique will be carrying women’s clothing in sizes small to 3X. To help complete the outfits, I will be carrying jewelry, handbags and accessories. I want to empower women to feel their most beautiful in a personal setting.
Be Bella Boutique will be doing home parties, vendor events and personal shopping calls. I plan on teaming up with other local businesses for fashion events in a fun yet casual setting.
The Shortstop Bar and Grill hosted my first event in September. I will also be participating in the Touch a Truck event at Raymour and Flanigan in West Springfield on Nov. 30, in time for holiday shopping.
