Big Bam eBikes has expanded into the wonderful world of coffee and tea with the opening of Big Bam Brew Cafe. To celebrate, a ribbon-cutting event is scheduled for July 12. (see details in Events).

"Coffee and bikes go well together," says Pam Fiume, who is co-owner with her husband Ray. Both Big Bam enterprises are happy, friendly businesses that add up to more than the sum of their two parts. "We are about socializing and creating a sense of community," says Pam.

For example, the couple organizes a regular Friday morning biking "Coffee Run." This open ride takes place weekly from October to April, and occasionally in the summer. It has fostered strong friendships and a welcoming atmosphere for new riders.

Pam’s goal for Big Bam Cafe is for it to emerge as the go-to spot for Venice cyclists, and to serve as a starting point for their rides along the Legacy Trail. Sarasota riders can also make a mid-ride stop at Big Bam Brew for a needed pick-me up, she adds.
