Deepening Their Roots

Partners Melanie Jacobs and Haven Tibbits have summer plans...

Melanie Jacobs and Haven Tibbetts are the entrepreneurial, creative and innovative co-owners of Deep Roots ATX. They also have Skin by Deep Roots and they renovate, rent and flip real estate under the moniker The Property Sisters. This summer they’re expanding the Deep Roots ATX umbrella and adding a co-op alongside their three Deep Roots locations. Melanie told Austin Lifestyle, “Deep Roots Co-Op will be a way to give back to our current employees who have worked really hard scaling their careers and career opportunities.  It will be a way to stay with our leadership, support and guidance but try something new on the business side of things by owning and being responsible for their own spot.” She explains that it will be different than current booth rentals or suites because “it offers a way to run your own business but not be on your own.  We will continue to support, guide, manage and educate our booth rental stylists and they will feel that community and the culture we have created with the three flagship locations.  It will also be a way for our educators to keep educating while owning their own chair.’ She says this will be the first of a few planned co-ops and they also plan to provide franchise opportunities to their employees, climbing that ladder with founder support.

The first location for Deep Roots Co-Op will be located directly next to their flagship Cedar Park location at 1310 E Whitestone Blvd #560 Cedar Park, TX 78613.
