Leprechaun’s Libation
Ingredients:
1 ounce Irish Whiskey
¾ ounce St. Germain Elderflower
½ ounce Lime Juice
1 ½ ounces Cucumber and Ginger Basil Syrup
Garnish: Cucumber Skewer/Basil Leaves
Glass: Cocktail
Method: Shake and Strain
Preparation: Add all the ingredients in a shaker. Shake vigorously for 8 seconds, strain, and pour in a chilled cocktail glass.
Cucumber Ginger & Basil Syrup
Ingredients:
500 ml of Hot Water
2 cups of Sugar
Half English Cucumber
3 pieces of Fresh Ginger
5 Fresh Basil Leaves
2 Fresh Mint Leaves
Step 1
How to make SUGAR SYRUP:
Mix 500 ml of hot water with 2 cups of sugar and stir until sugar dissolves.
Let cool to room temperature.
Step 2
Blend the sugar syrup with basil, ginger, and mint.
Double strain the mesh into a container and keep refrigerated.
