Throughout childhood, Kino Ayoubi remembers his uncle taking him to the toy store. There, he would go straight to the matchbox cars, specifically asking for the greatest, oldest Porsches. Over time, he accumulated a large collection that he proudly lined up on his bed. Ayoubi’s addiction to cars later grew into an addiction to driving.
“At 13, I would sneak out and take my dad’s Mercedes for a drive. I didn’t really get caught until about a year later when I returned the car home, basically totaled,” says Ayoubi. “So, I started driving at a very young age, self-taught. After the accident, my dad decided to take me out and sharpen my skills.”
Ayoubi’s fascination with cars has never wavered. In fact, he started his own group called the Austin GT Club in 2019. Brought together by their vehicles, the 250 members have forged meaningful friendships. If you need a trusted Realtor, mechanic, or lawyer, you have access to that source of knowledge.
“The car community exposed me to a lot of like-minded people that expanded my understanding of business in general," says Ayoubi. "Add my education to that equation, and I’m now providing very specialized business consulting services to friends and clients."
Ayoubi searches for vehicles with personality and performance, including his newest addition, the 720s Spider, which he finds achieves a connectedness like no other. From Mustang to Corvette, Porsche to Lamborghini, and now the bar-setting McLaren… He commits to putting miles on his cars, both on the road and on the COTA track, rather than leaving them in the garage.
“Most of my memories with my cars are the driving experiences. Each car I’ve had offered something special and different from the others,” says Ayoubi. “Every car tells a story, and every car has grown my circle of good friends. The best thing about having my cars would be the connections I’ve made and the great relationships I have with the people in my life today.”
