With a passion for healing and a commitment to innovative pain management, Dr. Odell has become a trusted figure in the medical community, transforming the lives of countless individuals seeking relief from their suffering.

We asked Dr. Odell to share some insights into his nearly 3 decades of serving the Las Vegas community.

How did you discover your passion for treating neuropathy and pain conditions?

I had the good fortune to work with the manufacturer of an advanced electromedical device. We discovered that this device had the capability of facilitating the healing of the nerves within the body.

What inspired you to specialize in this field?

I have always wanted to be a physician to help people. I was inspired to go into the subspecialty of interventional pain medicine so I could help my patients directly. Pain is the number one reason why people seek medical care, and in this specialized field we are getting better and better every day in managing complex pain issues with the existing and new technology.

What is your professional insight in this field of medicine?

My philosophy has always been to try to heal, not just paper over symptoms with medication. Too much of medicine today is ruled by Big Pharma; we need to take the time to try to heal our patients.

How has the Vegas community influenced your approach to patient care?

Las Vegas has a tremendous sense of community. The medical community is still small enough that word of providing excellent care travels fast. It is geographically small enough that almost anyone can reach our clinic within a half hour.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my contributions to the field of effective treatment of neuropathic pain. I also take considerable pride in offering sophisticated interventional procedures, all with the goal of decreasing medication usage.
