Courtney Mitchell is celebrating her 15th year in the photography business. Last year she received her Master's of Photography degree from Professional Photographers of America. She is also a Certified Professional Photographer.
Courtney says the best part of living and working in Sherman is its tight-knit community. She loves to see the widespread participation in town traditions like Friday Night Football and the Stroll on the Square. It's a place where as a business owner, she enjoys contributing to the community's thriving growth and vitality by serving on the Main Street Advisory Board as well as the Sherman Cultural District Board and the SEDCO (Sherman Economic Development Corporation) Women and Minority Owned Business Committee.
Courtney and her husband, Ian, have been happily married for a year and a half. Together they have an incredible blended family with five children ranging from 12 to 31 years of age. They also have a small dog and a lizard. She loves her family's joyful chaos, spending quality time together, traveling and hanging out with friends.
