Want to get away without having to actually go anywhere? Say "Aloha" to HITIDES Coffee in the East Crossroads. Sip on your Black Lava Sea Salt Latte—yes, please—or hit refresh with the Hawaiian Sunset (aka the best Arnold Palmer since Arnold Palmer).

Partnering with both Donutology and Meshuggah Bagels, the menu is nothing short of a Kansas City paradise with a HITIDES spin. Delivered daily, it's easy to indulge in a Pineapple Glazed Donut or the Citrus Avocado Bagel Toast. Did I mention they have Dole Whip? The tropical flavors are not to be outdone by the easy-going atmosphere that has been carefully curated by the owners Johnny Dawburn, a Hallmark alum, and his wife Michele, co-founder of Sew-KC. Walking in you'll be transported to an authentic island oasis—no cheesy, bright-colored Hawaiian shirts in sight.

With the seasons playing a part in deciding menu items, it's easy to see why HITIDES has become the local hot spot for islanders—and island-lovers alike. It's now open earlier, and longer (7am-7pm M-Th, 7am-8pm F-Sat and 9am-6pm Sun) making it easier than ever to stop by and say "Aloha."
