Scary times my friends! I'm hoping things change soon, but until then, I am going to try and do my part and stay home. As simple as that! Due to staying and working from home, I can't just watch the news 24/7 because I will go crazy! So here is what to watch on Netflix. Some shows and movies I have been loving that we can all watch as we stay home and practice social distancing.

Funny Shows on Netflix

One show that has been around for a while now is Schitt's Creek. There are six seasons so it'll definitely keep you busy for a while. And the show is about a family that goes completely broke, but owns this small town and they go there to live. It's a light, funny show that you can watch to help keep your spirits up.

Dead to Me has been out for a while and I think a lot of hype was around it when it first came out, but if you haven't seen it yet, watch it. It's a murder mystery wrapped in some comedy and Christina Applegate does a great job. I think season two is coming soon - or at least I hope. Either way, I would highly recommend this show to watch!

Drama Shows on Netflix

The Crown is one show I would highly recommend to watch on Netflix. I will admit, I wasn't so into it when we first started it, but I was quickly hooked! I think these days more and more of us are fascinated by what happening in England and with the Queen and the Royal Family. This gives you such a good insight as to what occurred back in the day and how crazy everything was in England. The acting is phenomenal and there are three seasons to keep you busy!

Black Mirror is another great show to watch on Netflix. Each episode is a new topic and new characters. The episodes are usually a little out there - some sort of future related topic, but they always keep me entertained. I believe there are three seasons as well - so lots for you to watch if you haven't seen it already.

What to watch on Netflix - Mindhunter. If you like the serial killer shows, this one is right up your alley! It's all about the two guys who investigate murders and finally come up with the term "serial killer". Super disturbing but fascinating all at the same time. I think season two is out now, but to be honest, I haven't watched it. I love Law and Order - Special Victims Unit, but this show was a little much even for me. But I might get bored enough and watch the second season - who knows, stay tuned!

Living with Yourself was a show that came out a while ago but worth binging if you haven't seen it before. It stars Paul Rudd - well actually two of him, what's better than that?! He ends up going to a spa that says they can clone people to make them their best self and that's what he ends up doing. His "best self" ends up going back home and living his life with his wife. So the "old" Paul Rudd character ends up not being happy about this and it goes from there. Only one season, but I would give it a go!

Sci-Fi/Fantasy Shows on Netflix

Sense8 is a weird one that I actually liked. If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm not much of a sci-fi watcher, but my husband is. Umm hello... Star Trek is his favorite show, ha! Anyways, so we comprise at times and watch each other's genres and we both end up liking them in the end I feel like. Anyways, Sense8 was one of those shows. It's about these eight people who are all over the world, but are somehow connected. They ended up meeting up all over the world and finding things in common. There are two seasons and then it was canceled. Not a show I would rave about, but desperate times, my friends. Something to keep you entertained nonetheless.

I can't say I am endorsing this show, but I watched it. My husband loved it. I think it may be the weirdest show I have ever seen. It had me confused at times, but enthralled at the same time. The OA. There are two seasons out and it'll keep your head spinning throughout them both. It's a supernatural mystery where this girl goes blind and missing and then appears and is able to see. Honestly, not sure what it's all about, but she gets kidnapped, this one man tries to study her and some of her friends. Like I said, weird but interesting all at the same time.
