If you're preparing for Party Arty this weekend, you're probably wondering what kinds of sips and bites to expect. Keep in mind the theme this year is "Night of the Shining Sun." Here's what we know.

Cookies from Rise + Grind Bakery

Enjoy fresh, homemade Ma'amoul cookies—also known as Kahk. These sweet treats date back to 10th-century Egypt, and they are coming to Party Arty from Rise + Grind Bakery in Kansas City.

Beer from Boulevard Brewing Company

You can't have a party in Kansas City without the classic brewing company that makes us who we are. Look forward to your favorite brews served in all of the museum bars.

Late-Night Treats from Shake Shack

Let me tell you, I am pumped for this midnight snack from Shake Shack. Well, it's served at 10:30 p.m., so it's not exactly midnight, but it's going to be great. Give me all of the chocolate Shack Attack, please! You can find these treats in the Bloch Lobby.

Kirkwood Hall and Bloch Lobby Bars

This party will be filled with bars so you are never too far away from your next drink. Your bartenders will be offering beer, wine and specialty cocktails.

Last call for alcohol in Kirkwood Hall is 11:30 p.m.

Last call for alcohol in the Bloch Lobby is 11:45 p.m.

Now, I have to be your best friend for a second and ask you to please plan out how you are getting to and from Party Arty before you start boozing. There is free parking in the museum garage as early as 7:30 p.m., but consider using a ride-share app if everyone in your group wants to drink.

And that's it—have fun and take lots of fancy pics with your designer cocktails! Share them with me by tagging me on Insta. I'd love to see your boujee poses. Plus, I'll be doing live stories throughout the night, so come find me if you want to be featured on my Insta story!
