As a native Kansas Citian, Ashlee has always had an affinity to her hometown and the community that surrounds her. From an early age, she had an interest and a desire to learn about gems and dreamed of becoming a Gemologist. Although Ashlee attended the University of Kansas, earning undergraduate bachelor’s Degrees in Economics, International Business, and Accounting- she always had a fascination for gemstones, their origins, and values. After college, Ashlee put that fascination into action and received her Graduate Gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA. Professionally she has worked in a variety of capacities in the jewelry industry but has grown to enjoy and relish her commitment to educating clients. Many clients have become friends because of the fun, laughter and joy Ashlee brings to every client encounter. A consummate professional jeweler by day and outside of VanBrock, Ashlee enjoys spending time with family, including many nieces and nephews, is an avid sports enthusiast, loves to travel, as enjoys time at home with her two fur babies.
