2022 Fort Worth Spring Break Bucket List

Your favorite Fort Worth locale’s are ready for spring break with wide-ranging entertainment for all ages!

We are all finally in the swing of things. The weather is up and down, but our morning groove has definitely hit its stride. It's in the daily humdrum, however, that spring break inevitably catches us by surprise. If you are a family with children, you’ll want a plan in place to entertain your energized brood. It's with family in mind, and with the hopes of memories being made, that we have compiled the 2022 Fort Worth Spring Break Bucket List! Included are the traditional Fort Worth staples with, hopefully, something new to discover. So, whether your kids are aged 2 or 20, Fort Worth has something to offer this spring!

1) Benbrook Stables

The Benbrook Stables offers a vast array of outdoor activities. Whether it's your first ride or you have years of experience, there's a horse and miles of outdoor trails around Lake Benbrook for you to enjoy. For spring break the stables offer: hourly guided tours, lessons, and the 2022 Spring Break Horse Camp. The Spring Break Horse Camp will be available for ages 5 and up starting March 14th-18th. Campers will learn everything from horse anatomy to the basics of riding as well as participating in various arts and crafts, hayrides, and outdoor games! Space will be limited so be sure to enroll in person or go to benbrookstables.com/camp to enroll online.

2) Fort Worth Zoo

Don't miss the Spring Break Zoo Camp 2022! Each camper will receive a complimentary t-shirt and will participate in a daily zoo hike with an accompanying lesson; they will also enjoy indoor and outdoor games and art activities. 5-10 year olds will have the option to enjoy the camp for a full five days or pick specific days with a la carte pricing. Extended care hours are available and members will enjoy a 10 percent discount! Registration is open to all online at: fortworthzoo.org/spring-break-camp.

3) The Amon Carter Museum of American Art

Spring Break at the Carter: Powerful Voices

For spring break this year, The Carter is hosting: Powerful Voices, a series beginning March 15th through March 18th from 1-3 PM. Powerful Voices is a free event that will focus on inspirational stories and raising our voices for what matters! Attendees will also enjoy gallery games, art-making, creativity challenges, and more. All ages are welcome! Check for more details at cartermuseum.org.

4) Spring Break at the Public Library

If you have a bookworm at home, the Fort Worth Public Library will be full of spring break activities to entertain even the most ardent bibliophile. Head to their website, https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/departments/library, to peruse an expansive list of family friendly and educational spring break events on their calendar; some of our favorites include:
