Salon Evangelene first opened its doors in August 2001, founded on a simple yet powerful idea: to create a space where both clients and stylists could truly thrive. After years immersed in the beauty industry, owner Evangelene Brown recognized a gap, one that called for a salon that felt elevated, yet welcoming, while prioritizing both exceptional services and meaningful connection.
Evangelene, who has been a stylist for 38 years now, says, “I saw the need for a space that valued not only beautiful hair and relaxing spa services, but also genuine relationships for our clients and an education-driven environment for our team.”
At its core, Salon Evangelene operates on three guiding principles: education, integrity, and community. Often described as a “teaching salon,” ongoing education is not just encouraged, it’s embedded into daily operations. Associate stylists and interns can be seen working alongside their mentors behind the chair.
