Here's another mom meal for you when you need to get something quick, tasty, and somewhat healthy on the table. Remember, my recipes are more like guidelines, so feel free to make this however you want.

I'm not a mom to a real food eater yet, but I like to think this recipe will be enjoyed by even picky eaters. It has cheese, and turkey kielbasa tastes like hot dogs.

Ingredients:

  • Turkey kielbasa
  • Bag of broccoli florets
  • 1 cup rice
  • Shredded sharp cheddar
  • Celery Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil

Directions:

Cut Kielbasa into small pieces either rounds or half-moons. Toss Kielbasa and broccoli with olive oil, celery salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. You can add as much or as little as you want. I like a good amount since this is the flavor of the whole dish. Roast at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes until everything is nice and roasted. Cook your rice to the package instructions then throw in as much shredded cheese as you want. Once broccoli and kielbasa are done mix into the rice as well. This dish lends itself well to sauce lovers. Put your favorite hot sauces, steak sauce, salsa, whatever on the table, and let people add some different flavors. It's also great sauceless.
