It’s officially Summer!!! Are you planning a STAYCATION? Here are some of my favorite Franklin, Nashville, and surrounding area ideas to have fun with your family over the break!

*The Factory is full of cute shops - ice cream - restaurants - and every Saturday the farmers market open and it’s fabulous.

*Carnton Plantation: you can find all kinds of history here -people bike or walk around - I’ve seen people take hammocks just to enjoy the beautiful grounds.

*Visit Kilwins or Jeni’s Ice Cream for a treat!

*Kings Bowl

*Brentwood Skate Center

*Urban Air -We absolutely love this place. You can do an obstacle course, zip line, jump on trampolines, they have a place for parents to chill or work (charging stations).

*The Nashville Zoo

*Cheekwood Gardens

*The Adventure Science Center

*Soundwaves at The Opryland Hotel (TN residents get a discount)

*Bike and take in nature at Radner Lake

*Visit waterfalls - a few of our favorites are: Machine, Rutledge, Jackson, and Old Stone Fort State Park.

*Drive down the Natchez Trace and stop at the stops along the way.

*Float down the Harpeth River on a kayak or float.

*Walk around Downtown Franklin, Nashville, Columbia, and Murfreesboro, do some shopping and find murals!

There are so many places to visit and good eats and fun around our town. I hope this little list gives you some fun ideas! Happy official Summer!
