Looking for a great family activity this month? On May 21, GiGi’s Playhouse Canton is hosting its first 5k, 1 Mile Walk and Kids Dash for Down Syndrome. The event is a key fundraiser to benefit the free therapeutic and educational programs at GiGi’s Playhouse Canton. Opened in April 2019, GiGi’s Playhouse Canton has been changing local lives by providing free, life-changing therapeutic, educational and career training programs for individuals of all ages.

“All of our programs are 100% free to families because we never want cost to be a barrier,” says Site Manager Megan Vance.

Get up and MOVE for ACCEPTANCE on Saturday, May 21 at Canal Park (the Rubber Ducks stadium) in Akron. Learn more, register or simply donate by visiting GiGisPlayhouse.org/Canton/Acceptance-Challenge.
