Whether traditional or a rendition, egg rolls are a delicious and easy appetizer to serve while entertaining, whether it be a casual get together with a few friends or part of a cocktail hour for a more formal gathering. Not only do they taste amazing, but they are the perfect finger food; easy to eat and mess free. With just a little creativity, you can fit this appetizer into your meals no matter what type of cuisine you are serving. I enjoy making different versions of egg rolls because I am able to fill those crispy wrappers, the best part of the dish in my opinion, with various types of foods giving them such different flavors.

There are many restaurants that serve nontraditional egg rolls and spring rolls. On the plate they may look alike but once you take that first bite, you can’t help but be intrigued by their unique flavors. There are many different directions you can take when filling egg roll wrappers. Two favorites that I have created are my Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls and my BBQ & Bacon Cheeseburger Egg Rolls. I hope you enjoy and feel free to share these recipes!
