Nothing welcomes fall more perfectly than a beautifully crafted cup of java. With celebrating our annual "welcome to autumn" this week, I needed just that perfect synergy to feel complete! While most people think of PSL's and the likes of Salted Caramel Latte's; as usual, I would search for the unique concoction that would rock my world. I found it at Foxtail Coffee Company, a Winter Park, FL Coffee Roasting Company. Founded only 2 years ago, Foxtail just opened its tenth store, including one inside the South Orlando Premium Outlets Tommy Hilfiger retail store (Vineland location).
It's the way coffee should be.
Ready for my "foxtail experience", on the first day of autumn, I headed out to indulge on a Lavender Bitters Doppio. Lavender simply called my name, as it has in honey, sugars, as well as balsamic vinegar. (Yup! One of my favorite recipes is Lavender Balsamic Pork Chops!) The story of two childhood friends (now co-owners of Foxtail) does not end there! To date, they have donated 10,000 pounds of coffee. Through their Foxtail Coffee Orlando Outreach program, they "may empower and improve the quality of life for individuals and families. With the opportunity to give back to our local community comes the opportunity to make change while shifting the way we think about coffee one cup at a time." Love this!
