Get ready to dive in because Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Monday that municipal and private swim club pools can open on June 22—which also happens to be my birthday, so this is an extra special birthday present this year. Considering how hot it's been lately, this is some welcome news! Pools are implementing various protocols to help adhere to social distancing requirements: reserve pool times, limited use of lounge chairs, increased cleaning, face masks worn outside of the pool, etc.
Unfortunately, due to the challenges, not every pool club will be able to open this summer. If you're looking for one to join, I've compiled a list of some pools in the Bridgewater area that have stated they plan to open. Follow the links to their websites to request more information!
This also clears the way for summer camps to use their pools when they open in July! My girls will be heading to Meadowbrook Country Day Camp this year for the first time, and look forward to their daily swim lessons and refreshing dips in the pool

Somerset Hills Swim Club
Somerset Hills Swim Club is planning for a July 1, 2020 opening date. Memberships are now open with a prorated membership fee as well as new member COVID-19 specials. We will enforce guidelines released by the NJ Department of Health in safely operating a swim club with COVID-19. We will publish more information as soon as it is released. We expect to have facility capacity requirements, bring your own chair policy, social distancing, and increased disinfecting of surfaces.

Middlesex Community Pool
The pool would like to remind any Residents and Non- Residents of Middlesex Borough that there is still time to join the community pool for the summer! Applications can be found at the Middlesex Public Library at the front desk, Middlesex Borough Hall by the Tax Office, Middlesex Rec-Center and online. Pleasant Valley Pool
Opening Day for Pleasant Valley Pool is July 1! Features include:
