Treefort 2021, Boise Idaho— The last embers of summer have begun to fade from Boise and here to usher in fall is Treefort Music Fest. Treefort featured over 417 talented artists. Boise and Meridian Lifestyle photographer Charles Knowles captured photos of several musical acts as well as some Skatefort action. Knowles is primarily a landscape photographer, but he also enjoys photographing weddings, family, graduation, and individual pictures. He very successfully captures light and movement into a still photograph.
Some of the photos capture the focus and joy on musicians faces as they perform.

Other photos use the lighting of Treefort’s main stage to bring in depth and pull the eye in.

These photos capture the intense bright reds, purples and blues of the main stage, highlighting the immersion of the musicians.

While others capture the detailing and face paint that some Treefort performers decorate themselves in.

These photos are excellent examples of capturing movement in a still photo while showing off the skill and intense focus on the skaters faces.

Each photo captures a unique moment from Treefort. They paint pictures of intense focus, as well as the joy that comes with pursing and sharing one’s passion with others.
