DIY Arts + Crafts at AR Workshop

A FUN CREATIVE OUTLET FOR KIDDOS

Life definitely looks different these days! With school transitioning to online teaching due to the recent pandemic, we needed a creative outlet for our three kiddos!

I heard from another mom that AR Workshop in Edmond was offering art projects you could do at home. I visited their website to see what they were offering.

Right now they have DIY To-Go Kits they will ship right to your door! Featuring different styles of wood signs, they have options for all ages, including adults. The kits start at $30 (that includes shipping!) and includes all the materials you need and instructions to follow.

You start by choosing your project. We chose the set of three 4x8" plank signs. Next, you choose the designs you want. They have so many fun options! Our daughter chose the ice cream cone and our boys picked the baseball and basketball designs.

After you're done selecting your design, you pay for the projects and it's as easy as that!

I ordered ours over the weekend and we received them the following Wednesday.

Our kids were so excited to get started! We had them change into some old clothes since you're dealing with stain and paint. You may want to lay down some craft paper or newspaper to protect the surface they're working on, too.

We opened the package and laid everything out. The paint and stain are non-toxic, perfect for kids! The step-by-step instructions were thorough and easy to follow. All-in-all the project took about 30 minutes and the kiddos loved the process and the finished product!

If you've been looking for something artsy to do with your kids while they're home, I highly recommend AR Workshop's DIY kits!
