Halloween is here! I've picked out my top 5 Houston Halloween hotspots where you can enjoy a fun, spooky themed meal! There's even a few competitions involved...

Weights and Measures: Spooky Halloween Brunch

One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite, or sit and relax with a pastry and coffee, Weights and Measures is offering all of their usual brunch items along with some "scary Halloween cocktails."

Competition: dress up to win a $100 gift card!

Popular brunch items: French Toast and Fried Chicken, House Smoked Salmon and Banana Bread and Pork Belly.

2808 Caroline St, Houston, TX 77004

Tobiuo Sushi and Bar

A recently opened sushi bar in Katy, with all the sophisticated Halloween vibes. Their Halloween menu consists of a spectacular pumpkin dessert and "Frankenstein inspired" cocktail. The dessert, which you may have seen all over Instagram (and soon on mine too) is called the "Japanese Pumpkin Patch." The very talented pastry chefs at Tobiuo have really created something special! It's made from a kabocha bavarois, clove anglaise, cocoa crumb, honey butter pumpkin seeds and horchata ice cream. Doesn't that sound heavenly?

Popular items: Engawa (flounder fin), the "Sushi Sets" and the Spicy Sake Maki

23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd Suite H130, Katy, TX 77494

Traveler's Table

If you're always stuck on what to eat or where to eat, Traveler's Table was made for you. Choose from any cuisine from Vietnamese, Moroccan, Indian to Brazilian, the choices are endless!

A Witch's Brew awaits you if you show up in costume for brunch or dinner! This delicious cocktail is made from Appleton Estate Reserve Rum, Crème de Mûre, Pimms, pineapple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, angostura bitters, ground cinnamon topped with sparkling wine.

Fear not. If you're not into dressing up and just want a good meal, you can buy the Witch's Brew for $10 a glass.

Popular items: Hummus with Lamb Ragu, Shiitake Edamame Dumplings (vegan) and Mango Lassi Panna Cotta.

520 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77006

Loch Bar: The Loch Ness Monster Ball

You're invited to the ball fellow foodies! The trendy River Oaks District bar is throwing a lavish ball with a live rock band, a snake charmer slithering through the crowd and drink specials too!

Competition: costume contest to win surprise prizes.

Popular items: anything from the Raw Oyster Bar, the Seafood Tower and the Grilled Red Snapper

4444 Westheimer Rd Suite G110, Houston, TX 77027
