On June 14th, the first and inaugural Blossoming Business Soiree was held in New Canaan, CT to celebrate local business owners, and a newfound community of city transplants who are committed to make the Westchester and Fairfield County entrepreneurial experience richer, sweeter and more connected. The idea for the event was the brainchild of Amanda Mintz, a seasoned recruiter, entrepreneur and community builder, and Katya Libin, founder of HeyMama, and now advisor, mentor, and holistic executive coach for bold entrepreneurs looking to build their fempires through a new lens of spirit meets strategy. The two dear friends had an aha moment while in Amanda's stunning backyard and said, why not host a different kind of networking event to energize, regenerate and inspire. How do we blossom in community? The name was born.
Luckily, a call to Greenwich Lifestyle Magazine later, we could not pass up the opportunity to bring this to life and knew once Filling in the Blanks was involved, we could create a highly memorable and impactful experience. When Amanda Gershman from Shelby Grey Events said she'd support us bringing this to life, we knew we had a team to pull off our first Blossoming Business Garden Soiree.
Together we raised over $3000 dollars to support the charity! If you would like to get involved moving forward, please reach out to Filling in the Blanks to learn more about how you can volunteer at one of their packing events. They are an incredible organization providing packed lunches to kids in need and serving tens of thousands of kids around Connecticut.
Given our love of music, spirituality, wellness, shopping, and more, we created a unique experience that incorporated breathwork, dance, tarot, reiki, pop-ups, inspiring speeches, and more. The photographers and partners involved allowed us to bring a truly special evening together, and although the rain had us on our toes, the packed house of guests loved it all.
A special thank you to our Sponsors, Shelby Grey Events, Singularis Design & Construction, NAYA, Element Med Spa, Sechey, Bybba, Yeouth Skincare, Ant Moore Wines, Leone Dental, and Skin by Sarah Medical. As well, thank you to all of our pop ups, gift bag partners and raffle providers. Your presence and integration into the event was felt, and we look forward to supporting your brands.
Our beverages and food for the evening gave plenty of delicious options thanks to @antmoorewines.intl @21seeds @wolfferwine @sechey and @eatnaya's food that no one could get enough of.
Everyone who participated to bring the event to life, we appreciate you. We see you. Thank you for your support and participation and we cannot wait for what 2024 has in store.
This will be the first of ongoing Blossoming Business events, so please stay in touch with the hosts if you would like to get involved next year. Supporting entrepreneurs is a core part of our goal here and these events bring that into 3D in the most powerful ways.
Thank you and keep blossoming.
