Tri Pointe Homes, Inc. (NYSE: TPH), one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S., has partnered with acclaimed design expert and host, Bobby Berk, for the design of two model homes at Treeland, a new 26-acre planned community located in the Phoenix metro’s high-demand East Valley. Sales and model home tours are currently underway.

“Berk’s third community design for us in the southern part of the Valley continues to deliver a distinctly unique aesthetic, while still appealing to a broad range of customers,” said Tri Pointe Homes Arizona’s Division President James Attwood. “His clean and contemporary style and visionary merchandising will shine as brightly for Treeland homeowners as it does in primetime. We are grateful to continue this special and exclusive collaboration.”

Located on the former site of a plant nursery, Treeland is anticipated to deliver a total of 86 homes upon completion. The single-family homes, which includes two standout model homes, are expected to range from 2,427 to 3,200 square feet with three to four bedrooms. Designed for a broad range of customers, the single-story homes at Treeland seamlessly combine classic country and contemporary designs.

“Tri Pointe presented this great opportunity to once again bring engaging aesthetics to a thriving and vigorous local market, with homes that combine universal appeal and a special chance to make a fresh, wonderful and winsome design statement,” said Berk, who has helped design and merchandise model homes for approximately 15 different Tri Pointe Homes’ communities over the past seven years. Berk continues: “The Southwest Contemporary style brings a touch of modernity with a high-contrast scheme offering tailored architectural details and clean lines juxtaposed with curved forms, rustic woods, casual fabrics and linens, and textural rugs and materials. The tailored Mid-Century Farmhouse style offers a surprising twist, combining vibrance with farmhouse elements to honor Chandler’s agrarian past.”

Located at 1427 E. Cherrywood Place in Chandler, the Berk-designed Southwest Contemporary model has four bedrooms, three baths and a three-bay garage. The 2,805-square-foot residence includes an executive kitchen, extended covered outdoor living & extended dining, multi-sliding glass door at great room and frameless walk-in shower at primary. Berk’s Mid-Century Farmhouse designed model has three bedrooms, three baths and a three-bay garage. The 2,427-square-foot residence includes an extended primary suite, center pull sliding glass door at dining, patio door at primary suite, second sink at bath 2, cabinets at laundry, and iron entry door.

Upon completion, Treeland is expected to include several shared community spaces and features for its homeowners, including parks, ramadas and a playground. The premium East Valley location of the gated, amenity-rich community offers easy access to the 60 and 202 freeways, as well as Paseo Vista Recreation area.

“Treeland inspires with so much natural appeal as visitors feel instantly connected to the land through community gardens, green spaces and beautiful towering palm trees,” said Attwood. “It’s very special that Berk can complement and build on that feeling with his expert design and merchandising of the model homes aimed at inspiring a wide range of homebuyers.”
