Strawberry Crumble Pie

August is a berry good time to bake a crumble pie, top with your favorite flavor ice cream and enjoy these end of summer evenings.

Ingredients

Filling

  • Pre-made pie crust
  • 4 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 Tablespoon cornstarch

Crumble Topping

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Half a stick of butter
  1. Follow directions for pre-made pie crust. Add to your pie dish and smooth out with your fingers.
  2. Combine dry ingredients for filling. Add strawberries and mix to incorporate.
  3. Add filling to pie crust
  4. Combine ingredients for crumble topping and place on filling mixture
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes until topping is golden brown
