What are Karmic Cycles?

Karmic cycles are life cycles that we must undergo in order to learn specific lessons that catapult our growth.  These lessons intend to free us from inner blockages that are hindering us from reaching our full potential.  Because people usually aren’t consciously aware of them, they tend to become stuck in these karmic cycles. If you’ve ever found yourself in repetitive ordeals, or situations, and wondered “Why does this keep happening to me?”, you have more than likely been stuck in a karmic cycle. And they will go on repeating themselves until the lesson is acknowledged, and you’ve learned from it. If you're repeating the same mistakes, then you haven’t yet learned from them.

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”. —Albert Einstein

Karmic cycles may be characterized by a codependent relationship between you and others’.  I want you to envision a boy who gets kicked out of his sister’s house at the age of 16. He then decides to move in with a friend, and that doesn’t work out either so he gets kicked out again. He continues this pattern of relying on others for a home, thus he continues this pattern of instability in his home life until the age of 30. He never stops getting kicked out. This is an example of a codependent karmic cycle. Karmic cycles can also be a result of your subconscious manifestations. Never dwell on your past, it cannot be changed. The “Law of Attraction” is infinite, and will continuously manifest your thoughts into your physical reality. Sow seeds of good deeds and positive thoughts and you will work your own miracles!

So, how did the boy we envisioned break free? He became consciously aware of this repetitive pattern, got two jobs, and moved into his own home. Breaking free from karmic cycles is quite a daunting task, but it's not impossible. You just have to identify it, make yourself consciously aware of it, and then find a way to clog its wheel. Let’s take conscious steps to withdraw, and eventually stop those self inhibiting habits. Take control of your life, now, in this very moment. Become a listener to those negative thoughts in your head that only feeds adverse outcomes that can last an entire lifetime.
