Love Society, a local non-profit that encourages both children and adults to give back to children and families in need, is partnering with Top Cup Coffee in Gilbert to give away over 150 treats, art kits, and coffee gift cards this Valentine’s Day. Top Cup Coffee will also be giving free drip coffee samples away to those who come to meet Love Society. The give away will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the 7115 S Val Vista Dr. Gilbert, Ariz. Top Cup Coffee location. The items will be given away on a first come, first serve basis.
Each holiday season, Love Society finds a new way to give back to the community, children, or families. In 2020, Love Society created over 300 Love Bags totalling $44,400 in donations that were gifted to sick children and their families at Banner Health, rescued sex-trafficking victims at Street Light USA, Natalie’s House, and the Phoenix Dream Center, and children at Jump Start Ministries. Each Love Bag contains different quality products for the recipient it will be going to so that they receive essential and feel-good items during a time of need or despair. The organization is currently collecting donations for its annual Mother’s Day giveback. This year they will be filling 100 Love Bags for mother’s at the Phoenix Dream Center and additional bags for mother’s at Jump Start Ministries.
“Valentine’s Day was the perfect time for us to host our first community pop-up to spread love, joy, and cheer. We want to re-introduce ourselves and share our mission with others. We’re hoping that we can put some smiles on faces, because at the end of the day, that’s all we’re really trying to do,” said Jennifer Cooper, Founder of Love Society.
