Danielle Seay, the creative genius behind ViVi Bears Balloons, has turned her pain into a passion project—a story of resilience, strength, and inspiration. Through her balloon art, Danielle celebrates life’s moments, both big and small, with a creative vision that reflects her journey of healing and hope. On January 1, she spread some extra joy in her community by organizing a special birthday celebration for a young boy named Jack, who shares a birthday on February 2, 2020, with Danielle’s miscarried baby, Taylor. It was a meaningful gesture that perfectly embodies the spirit of ViVi Bears Balloons: celebrating life’s moments, both big and small.

Founded in 2020, ViVi Bears Balloons blossomed when Danielle could no longer ignore the pull of her creative passion. Though her original path led her to dental school, she always found herself drawn to parties, party dresses, and Pinterest boards filled with DIY ideas. In February 2019, she crafted a balloon garland for her son’s 6th birthday—one that now makes her smile, recalling how “amateur” it looked at the time. But that simple creation sparked something within her, and soon she was making garlands for friends and their kids.

The turning point came on August 2, 2019, when Danielle experienced the heartbreaking loss of her baby, Taylor, at 13 weeks and six days. "His death showed me that life is too short to not pursue your dreams," she reflects. Amid this devastating grief, seven months later, Danielle became pregnant with what she calls her “rainbow baby,” a symbol of hope and a promise from God that she had not been forgotten. It was then that the call to start her own business became undeniable, and she took a bold leap—launching ViVi Bears while pregnant during a pandemic, on the one-year anniversary of Taylor’s passing.

The name “ViVi Bears” holds deep personal meaning. It’s a combination of her children’s nicknames—Brody Bear and Vivi Cat—and a tribute to her baby Taylor, represented by the stuffed bear that symbolized her loss. The four balloons in the company logo represent her four children, a beautiful reminder of both the joy and heartache that have shaped her journey.

Danielle felt the need to honor his memory this year as her baby would've turned five. She posted on the Bentonville Moms Facebook page, hoping to find a child who shared the same birthday, and that’s when she found Jack. Danielle and a group of local businesses came together to create a birthday party that would light up Jack’s special day—while also honoring her own heavenly baby.

Through this heartfelt gesture, Danielle is turning her loss into something beautiful, showcasing her unwavering ability to celebrate life’s moments, find light in the darkness, and create joy for others even in the face of pain.
