A business grows and prospers when it listens to customers, plans for the future and embraces technology in their industry. When Dan Shaunnessy, president and owner of Window Traditions, and his team recently researched a new product for the expanding company, they discovered an opportunity they could sink their teeth into.
Designing and installing windows and doors for new construction and for replacement and renovations, Window Traditions now offers custom wine cellars. These “wine walls” may be nestled into existing architectural nooks or expand across entire walls of a dining room or kitchen.
“People usually want slim profiles and the most important feature is that they are thermally controlled or 'Thermally Broken,'" explains Dan. “The designers can choose between thermally broken and non thermally broken frames as well as multiple different patina finishes.” The designs complement modern farmhouses, traditional colonials, sprawling estates and more modest townhomes. Arches, angles and existing furnishings are taken into consideration, along with the homeowners’ personal style and lifestyle requirements.
Window Traditions was founded 22 years ago, now with three locations in Johns Creek, Lake Oconee and Nashville, TN. “Johns Creek was originally chosen by the previous owners due to its development and location,” says Dan. “The community is supportive of businesses like ours and the talent pool is deep, which has allowed us to find the best and most skilled team members for our design, administrative and installation crews.”
Window Traditions serves the Southeast area with a heritage of quality that dates back to 1990. "Because we strive to be the best at what we do, we ensure integrity and excellence permeate every aspect of our operations," promises Dan.
The company provides a full spectrum of services – from trustworthy knowledge and education through product sales, installation and beyond as a complete provider of choice for commercial contractors, homeowners and builders/remodelers.
As a privately held business, our employees are empowered to resolve any problem on-site.
Their broad expertise and years of experience are unmatched in the Atlanta area. The team takes pride in understanding which products to recommend for your project and your budget, and they have experience with many different challenges and approaches to projects.
