Ryan Vargas built Focus Points on trust, craftsmanship, and showing up for neighbors.

Roswell's Ryan Vargas has quietly become the name homeowners pass along without hesitation. As the owner-operator behind Focus Points Windows & Doors, he's built his business on something simple and increasingly rare: showing up, doing right by the customer, and never losing the personal touch. Between growing a certified installation team and raising a young family of his own, Ryan's story is one rooted in community, craftsmanship, and giving back.

For Ryan, Roswell was never just a place to do business it's home. Having grown up in Alpharetta, North Fulton has always been part of his story. He moved to Roswell in 2009 to stay close to family, and when he launched Focus Points in 2011, building the company here was simply the natural next step.

"I've developed some incredible relationships with homeowners, contractors, suppliers, and others in the industry throughout Roswell and the surrounding area," Ryan says. "Those relationships are a big part of what has kept me rooted here." Roswell has since become woven into his family's own story as well as he and his wife married at The Gardens at Great Oaks in downtown Roswell in August 2015, and welcomed their son the following August.

That sense of community runs straight through how Ryan built his business. Focus Points remains owner-operated, meaning homeowners who call are talking directly to Ryan and his team not routed through layers of a larger company. "Roswell has always felt like the right place to build Focus Points because people here value relationships, reputation, and the quality of the work being done in their homes," he explains. "I've never wanted us to feel like a large company where a homeowner becomes just another job number." From the beginning, his philosophy was simple: show up when you say you will, do quality work, stand behind it, and treat people the way you'd want your own family treated. "Roswell is a community where word of mouth still means something," he adds, and much of the company's growth has come from neighbors referring neighbors.

Ryan built Focus Points from the ground up literally starting on the installation side, spending years personally fitting windows and doors before the business grew. That hands-on foundation still shapes how he leads his team today. "I tell my team that we're working on someone's home, not just installing another window or door," he says. "We need to treat that home with the same care we would want someone to show ours." The same principle carries into sales: Ryan doesn't believe in pressuring homeowners toward a particular product. Instead, his goal is to educate, listen, and help each customer land on what actually fits their home and budget.

Giving back has also become part of the company's everyday rhythm. Focus Points supports local school programs, sponsors community charity events, and has found a meaningful way to reduce waste along the way. When a window arrives mismeasured or incorrect for a project, rather than discarding it, the team donates it to Habitat for Humanity, giving another family the chance to benefit.

When Ryan thinks about the legacy he hopes to leave both personally and professionally it comes back to trust. "Replacing windows and doors is a major investment, and homeowners shouldn't have to worry about whether they chose the right product, whether it's being installed correctly, or whether the company will still be there if they need something afterward," he says. "If my family and Focus Points leave any kind of legacy in Roswell, I hope it's that people know our name means they'll be treated fairly, we'll stand behind our work, and we'll be there when they need us."

Outside of work, Ryan's weekends belong to his family and increasingly, to whatever sport his son is playing that season. Football fields, baseball diamonds, and basketball courts around Roswell have become the family's regular gathering spots. "Between practices, games, and spending time with other families, we've gotten to experience another side of the Roswell community that we really enjoy," he says.

It's a fitting rhythm for a business built the same way: rooted in relationships, shaped by community, and centered on showing up for the people who matter most.

"If my family and Focus Points leave any kind of legacy in Roswell, I hope it's that people know our name means they'll be treated fairly, we'll stand behind our work, and we'll be there when they need us."
