A Culinary Haven for Health

How People’s Organic makes it easy to eat healthy with options for every dietary need

People’s Organic owner Mike Swafford’s story is a familiar one. “Whenever I ate out at restaurants, I would always feel really tired and have low energy afterward,” shares Mike. “I wanted to eat delicious food, but food that actually gave me energy and stamina after eating it. That’s what really made me interested in People’s Organic. The idea that I could eat something that tastes so good and know that it’s good for you, too.”

People’s Organic in Minnetonka makes it easy to start your health journey, offering something for everyone, whether you’re gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, or have no dietary restrictions at all. “You won’t have to cobble together a meal with sides or just stick with water. Everyone can find something on our menu that they love and leave happy. Our food is organic and made fresh every day in-house. We research where we source all our food, with many coming from local vendors; our eggs are from Larry Schultz Farms, our beef is from K Creek Ranch in Canby, Minnesota, and we have our own coffee line with locally roasted coffee beans.”

Their coffee menu rivals any of your favorite coffee haunts, serving up decadent specialty coffee drinks like their Chocolate Java Frappie or the Agave Almond. You’ll also find local beers, including Fulton, Surly, and Insight Brewing, along with a recent addition of THC seltzers.

“We are definitely the spot for those who are starting on the path to eating healthier. The Breakfast Bowl or Buddha Salad are healthy choices that you’ll enjoy right out of the gate,” says Mike. “When you start exploring our menu, be patient and let your taste buds adjust. When I started to eat healthier, it took a couple meals to shift my palate.”

Looking for healthier comfort food?

“Order our Spaghetti Bolognaise or our Mac & Cheese, which you can add bacon to make it really amazing. Plus, our salsa is out of control, and the guac is next level. Both are made in-house every day, and guests purposely order it to-go so they can enjoy it at home.”

Want a delicious and hearty breakfast?

“Try our Wild Rice Pancakes with blueberries, the Breakfast Bowl, and we have fantastic pastries from Sift Bakery.”

What’s for dinner?

“You can’t go wrong with our fresh-caught Grilled Salmon Dinner with organic seasonal veggies or our Bison Burger. Go with a classic dish like our Grass-Fed Cheeseburger and Fries, a great choice for the kids. And kids eat free on Sunday nights with an adult dish.”

Most importantly, what’s for dessert?

“The Salted Caramel Cheese Cake or our Cinnamon Brioche is a great choice.”

People’s Organic also offers catering for all corporate events, school graduations, and boxed lunches for big parties, making it easy to stick to your health goals during the holidays or for any event or celebration. “We cater parties of 800 people to 10 people,” says Mike. “There’s no party too big, nor any party too small.”

Not only will you fall in love with their delicious menu, but you’ll fall for People’s Organic’s cozy atmosphere and beautiful patio. During the warm months, both the Minnetonka and Plymouth locations welcome you to a garden oasis where you can enjoy your meal draped in bougainvilleas and surrounded by lush plant life and beautiful blooms.

“The greatest feeling is when I see the patio full and everyone’s eating and talking, enjoying their meal. We’re incredibly grateful for all of our guests, supporting local and allowing us to stay in business during some really tough times over the last few years so we can continue to offer a place that caters to all dietary needs,” expresses Mike. “We love seeing so many returning guests. It tells us that we’re doing something right!” www.peoplesorganicmn.com
