Chris Lane is not your typical salon. After 15 years of friendship, Cori and Briana decided to pursue this business venture together. The name comes from the combination of their middle names, Christine and Shelane, respectively. Briana has been styling hair for 13 years, and Cori has a background in education. Both have managed multiple other businesses and value their clients deeply.

What can you expect when you walk into Chris Lane? This progressive salon offers the unique and much-needed feature of childcare. Though you will need to make a reservation prior to your appointment, you can feel at ease knowing that your children will be well cared for by someone who has a background in childcare and is CPR certified. This incredible service allows you to focus on your pampering and self-care.

If you bring your children, you will immediately see the attention to detail that the salon offers. Once you drop your children off in the clean and brightly lit care area, you will check-in and may choose from a selection of beverages such as coffee, tea, soda, wine and beer. You will then be ushered into your client consultation, which is completely personalized to give you the ultimate celebrity experience. With 12 stylists on staff, there is a wide range of expertise including blonding, brunette, pixies, balayage, vivids and men. Depending on which service you desire, you will be matched with someone who is able to cater to your desired look.

After your client consultation, you will be given a luxurious scalp massage with a hot towel treatment and a complimentary paraffin wax dip to relax your hands. Throughout your pampering, you will be educated on the products used and the blowout process so that you can achieve the same results from the comfort of your home. Chris Lane is proud of the experience that they offer, and in order to keep the focus on you, they refuse to double book their stylists. You can relax knowing that you are their prime focus.

The Chris Lane experience is not limited to hair. Other pampering services include manicures and pedicures, lash lifts and tints, waxing, facials, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and the Acnipur facial, which is great for anyone struggling with acne. Chris Lane has a wonderful aesthetician on staff, and she works exclusively with Phytomer products to bring relief to your skin. After your day of pampering, you will feel completely rejuvenated.

What sets Chris Lane apart from other spas? Besides their passion for creating a one-on-one experience with each client who walks through their door, they care deeply about their community. Beginning at the first of the year, Chris Lane will be teaming up with the Thompson School District to provide sensory-free haircuts once a month to those on the autism spectrum.

This is a service that the duo feels passionate about, as Cori has a 13-year-old son with autism and recognizes the need for every individual to have access to a welcoming experience. Like every service at Chris Lane, the sensory-free haircut will be catered to the individual’s specific needs—whether that means a quiet, music-free atmosphere or being able to watch a movie. Weighted blankets and sensory toys will also be on-hand to allow for ultimate comfort. Of the proceeds from these events, 10% will go to Autism Speaks, funding research, early screening and intervention and spreading awareness and acceptance on a nationwide level.
