From Beau Geste to Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, the Imperial Dunes Recreational area, located near Yuma, is considered an ideal destination for explorers, adventurers, filmmakers, and space aliens alike. It is no surprise then, that it also attracted a group of friends whose passion revolves around recreating their favorite movie and popular culture characters. This year, the two day adventure focused on the recent Disney+ streaming series The Mandolorian and the 1999 summer blockbuster movie: The Mummy. Kudos to @ambrose_cosplay, @lobo_of_steel, @sparkinsonadventures, @ascheley_does_cosplay, @reignweaver_cosplay for braving the heat of the desert and the sandstorms. Maybe someone should bring the Stillsuits from Dune next year!
