As we reflect on the past decade, we turn to our nine Centennial Clients (partners who have advertised with us for 100 issues) to help tell the story of West Chester + Liberty Lifestyle. We asked a variety of questions about their favorite stories, business milestones, community pride, advice for the future, experience working with us and more. Here are the highlights of their insights.
Tiffany Allen Zeuch, Sibcy Cline Realtors
Over the last decade, my partnership with the magazine has helped me become a familiar face in the community. The consistent exposure has built recognition and trust with homeowners, which has been invaluable in growing and sustaining my business.
One of my favorite memories is being voted by the public as West Chester + Liberty Lifestyle’s Real Estate Agent of the Year five years in a row. It was such an honor to have the community’s trust and support recognized in that way, and it remains one of the most meaningful highlights of my time with the magazine.
I’ve seen tremendous growth in our community—from rising real estate values to the addition of new businesses, restaurants and shopping areas. It’s been exciting to watch Liberty and West Chester thrive and become even more desirable places to live.
This community is special to me because it’s truly home. I grew up in West Chester and have lived in Liberty Township for most of my adult life, so I’ve seen firsthand how it’s grown from farm fields and a small suburb into the thriving area it is today.
My hope for the future is that West Chester and Liberty continue to thrive as highly desired places to live and work. I look forward to helping even more residents and families buy their dream homes or sell their current ones as they take their next steps.
Patsy Rabinowitz, West Chester Academy
We are honored to be part of the City Lifestyle Magazine community. Just as we moved into our new building 10 years ago, the magazine was beginning its journey, and in many ways, we’ve “grown up” together, both rooted in a deep love for this community.
A favorite memory was seeing our students, Robert Weatherington and Piper Vanderveer, featured in a cover article (page x). I taught Robert piano from a young age, and he later excelled in dance. Today he performs on a Mediterranean cruise ship—a wonderful example of how the arts can shape versatile, accomplished young artists and launch fulfilling careers.
Judge Rob Lyons + Kara Lyons, Lyons & Lyons
Michelle and Tera come up with wonderful ways to genuinely and authentically spotlight our business.
The father-daughter business partner story was very special. It was the tenth anniversary of working alongside my father and during the photoshoot I was pregnant with my first child, and my dad’s first grandson. The pictures we received from that shoot are priceless!
I’m proud of becoming a mother while continuing to practice law and run a business. My son comes to work with me twice a week and I love that I’ve been able to adapt my work style to accommodate both motherhood and business.
Damon, Devin and Dustin Mundey, The Turf Tailor Grounds Maintenance
Our partnership started almost 20 years ago, not just 10! It began with cutting grass for a high school teacher (our publisher’s husband). That turned into a working relationship that helped us grow like we never imagined possible.
It is neat to see how this small business turned into a top leading maintenance provider in the area. We once were just push-mowing a few lawns, now we have trucks in almost every neighborhood in town.
We went from growing up in this community to now having strong relationships with a shared purpose to boost a successful community.
Cari Hillman, Midpointe Library System
West Chester + Liberty Lifestyle have been some of our best cheerleaders. Their team is deeply connected to the community and have always been the first to promote new offerings from the Library, whether it be launching the Innovation Pointe makerspace or highlighting MidPointe’s championing of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio.
In June of 2025 MidPointe opened a brand-new facility in Liberty Township. It was the culmination of 15 years of hard work, and we couldn’t be more delighted to see how enthusiastically the community has embraced the space. West Chester + Liberty Lifestyle helped us keep patrons informed throughout the building process and were on hand to celebrate with us as it opened!
Dr. Jennifer Dehnbostel, Animal Hospital of West Chester
Over the last 10 years our small animal hospital facility has changed in many ways. We moved into our new 7,500 square foot updated hospital facility on January 27, 2020. With continued growth, we have added two additional experienced veterinarians to provide two doctors every day. One of our doctors has a special certification in chiropractic medicine. Over the last decade we have remained privately owned and operated to continue to provide personalized care for your pet, no corporate protocols or policies to follow. Your pet will always be our priority.
Michael Corna, American Family Insurance
Being part of this community has shaped who I am as an agent. I’m not just serving customers, I’m serving neighbors, friends and families that I know personally. People want to support businesses that support their town. Businesses that give back and are involved in local events and schools. They feel good knowing their insurance dollars support the local community.
My advice to someone starting a business is to be a teacher, not a seller. Educate your clients, market locally, join local chambers and business groups. Sponsor local youth teams and school events. Follow-up personally with clients. Your success will often depend on how well you connect with people.
Alison Shiver-Himes + Chip Shiver, Shiver Security/Pye Barker
My father and I were spotlighted for a family business article and we got to share a photo shoot together which was very special. He has owned Shiver Security for the past 50 years. I am third generation, but we were recently acquired by Pye Barker Fire and Safety, which makes for a great fit because we can now provide all aspects of life safety to our community.
I am very proud of our community involvement, especially the six K9s we’ve donated to law enforcement agencies through the Matt Haverkamp Foundation. It’s a great feeling to know we are aiding law enforcement to help with crime.
Dr. Kris Titko, Center for Foot Care
Being part of this magazine was one of the smartest moves I made when I opened my practice in Liberty Township 10 years ago. I had a steady three times the return on investment since the beginning, finding the community I wanted to serve. There has been some amazing growth in this area and the magazine's reach grew with it—fortunate for me that I found this platform. I retired at the end of October, having fulfilled all of my professional goals. I want to thank this community for your trust in my care. It has been my honor and privilege to serve you.
