MEET THE SPECIAL PETS OF LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS

"Pets are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole"

Pets are a special part of our families. Whether they are the one to bring you your (half-eaten) fuzzy slippers when you get home from a long day of work or curl up beside you and stare longingly while you finish up your dinner, they blend seamlessly into our lives and become our best friends. We want to introduce you to some local business owners and their furry friends who fill up their days and their lives. All different but all adored.

BOB & ALISON TURNER / BOB TURNER CONSTRUCTION

Say hello to the Turner Beagles. Bo, Gemma, Jack and Tim are all rescues and "active adults" ranging from ages 9-12. Age doesn't keep these pups from exploring their beautiful acreage in Celina which boasts a pond and plenty of green space, perfect for playing catch. Mom and Dad don't like to overindulge these four but for a special treat, they love bacon, cheese, hotdogs and lunchmeat. Whether they are lounging on the couch or going hunting, these beagles are living their best life in Celina.

MOMO

LORI VADEN / LORI VADEN GROUP

MoMo (meaning peach in Japanese) is a beautiful kitty who just turned one year old in July. MoMo loves to play with her mom's earrings and has affectionately earned the nickname "Miss Piggy" because she loves to eat. She sleeps on her back everywhere and anywhere, whether it's in the middle of the hallway or in the living room. Momo is extremely curious and loves to explore with her Corgi and English Bulldog siblings.

ICY TRAIL

REX & SHERESE GLENDENNING / REX REAL ESTATE

REXRealEstate.com

Icy Trail is a beautiful Texas Longhorn who lives on the Glendenning Ranch. Though there are many other longhorns on the ranch, Icy Trail is the favorite of owner Rex. Her colorful hide is unique and sought after in the Longhorn industry. Last year, Icy Trail surprised Sherese Glendenning and her granddaughter when they came upon her in the field. She had just given birth and it was twins, the first-ever pair born on the ranch! Icy Trail loves to graze on lush green grass and is a great mama to her calves. We are lucky to have her and her fellow longhorns living right here in Celina.

GLORY B

TROY & DENISE TUITE / SUPER SPLASH CAR WASH PROSPER

Handsome Glory B is a five year old bay-colored Jockey Club registered thoroughbred standing at 16.2 hands high. He lives on 17 beautiful acres in Celina with fellow horses Cohete and Stormy, donkey friends Wendy and Penelope and Great Pyrenees pups Cayman and Nala. Glory B has a silly disposition and he loves to roll in the mud right after a bath. He is a "pocket horse" always wanting to be near his humans. He loves to run and is a dream to ride.

NAPA

JIM & DEBRA SCANO / ATOMIC T-SHIRTS AND SIGNS

AtomicTShirts.com

Sweet Napa got her name because she whined a lot as a puppy. Her owners are wine lovers so that also played a part in her naming. She just turned five this summer and when she was younger, she loved to jump but now she prefers to play tug. When she goes to Atomic T-Shirts and Signs with her owner Jim, she loves to lay by the front door and greet guests. Napa loves to be touching someone so she'll often attempt to sit on your feet. Though she is sensitive and hates loud noises, she loves being outside to watch a good thunderstorm.
