For me, flowers have always been about connection—connection to people, to moments, and to the emotions that words sometimes can’t express. That belief is what led me to create Floral Expressions, a business that has been serving our community for the past nine years.
I’m Jodi Bachman, owner and lead designer of Floral Expressions. I’m also a wife to my husband, Adam, and a mom to our five children—roles that have shaped not only who I am but also how I run my business. Balancing family life with entrepreneurship has taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of showing up with intention in everything I do.
Floral Expressions was built on the idea that flowers should feel personal. Whether we’re designing wedding florals, sympathy arrangements, or everyday bouquets, each piece is created with care and thought for the person receiving it. I believe flowers tell stories—of love, loss, celebration, and hope—and it’s an honor to be trusted with those moments.
Being a local business owner means more to me than simply running a shop. It means building relationships, supporting other small businesses, and being present for our community during both joyful milestones and difficult times. Many of our customers have become familiar faces, and that sense of trust and connection is something I value deeply.
I love being part of the most important days in people’s lives. I hold it dear to my heart that they trust me with such meaningful milestones. In these moments, we witness the most beautiful expressions of love and compassion—friends showing up for one another in times of joy and in moments of suffering. Watching that support unfold is a powerful, ongoing cycle of love.
After nine years, Floral Expressions continues to grow, evolve, and bloom—much like life itself. I’m grateful every day to do work that allows me to create beauty, serve others, and build something meaningful for my family and my community.
