With public monthly meetings, named Huddles, they’re offering a place for men to casually gather over cigars, poker, drinks and catered food while talking about life and feelings while connecting with healthy options for deeper processing. The people behind Inherent are making an impact on the wellness of us and the ones we do life with.
Statistically, only 5% of men seek counsel, Taylor says. “We’ve seen 57% of our group reach out to resources since joining our huddles. The huddles help facilitate and give men permission to speak openly about their feelings. It’s to create a community of other men.”
They’re inviting men to become better versions of themselves and women to become equipped supporters of them as they walk into uncharted territory— and they’re making progress.
Another offering they’ve developed in their concerted effort is a facilitation of licensed educators who help companies streamline mental wellness awareness for their staff.
