Fall Harvest Salad

Red and green leaf lettuce

Sliced pear

Dried cranberries

Cut up orange pieces

Candied walnuts or pecans

Small wedge of blue cheese

1/4 cup Olive R Twist Cinnamon Pear Dark Balsamic

1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard

1 Tbsp. honey

1 small shallot, minced

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. black pepper

1/2 cup Olive R Twist Blood Orange Olive Oil (This particular olive oil is "fused,"a process during which the whole fruit and the olives are pressed at the same time, creating a wonderful flavorful blend)

Tear up the lettuce leaves and toss with sliced pear, dried cranberries, orange pieces and candied nuts.

For salad dressing, in a separate bowl whisk together the balsamic, mustard, honey, minced shallot, salt and pepper until blended. Whisk in the olive oil, blending well. Toss salad with the dressing; top with crumbled blue cheese.

Note: If not used immediately, dressing may be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Allow to come to room temperature before serving.
