There will be more than 70 wines from the California region to sample, including Prisoner and Orin Swift labels, to name a few. If you enjoy what you taste, you’ll be able to purchase bottles to take home at an amazing discount. Guests can nibble on small bites during the event and then continue the night upstairs with a meal for 25% off. There will be a limited number of tickets available, so those interested should pre-purchase on Basil’s website.
“We hope this event can become an annual gathering, one which we might even repeat in the spring,” says Jeff Finkelstein, restaurateur at Basil’s.
On a daily basis, Basil’s wine menu is picked to accommodate a wide range of wine drinkers. The price points on the list are meant to show guests that even really good wine can be affordable. Basil’s also sells their own California house wine by the glass and the bottle. For added convenience on those nights when you don’t feel like cooking, you can pick up a to-go order and get a bottle of house wine for half off.
