An afternoon at the lake beckons images of beautiful sunsets, sparkling water with trees swaying in the breeze and an escape from daily life. When homeowners Zach and Katie Boeshart decided to update their home on Lake Cable, their main request was to have lake views from within their home. They transformed their walkout ranch style house into a modernized open living space with lake views from the front to the rear of their home thanks to superior design.

“With some creative planning, we took a sketch and turned it into a blueprint,” says Brian St. Jean of Jackson Township-based Infinity Homes & Remodeling. “Prior to the remodel, all of the rooms were compartmentalized, so when you walked to the front door, you wouldn’t know the house was on a lake."

The design included opening up the floor plan and moving the master bedroom suite to the first floor. This allowed the addition of a walk-in closet and double vanity, complete with a view of the lake. On the second floor a new foyer entryway, dinette and guest bathroom were added, as well as an open great room and kitchen.

“As we embarked upon the full house remodel, Brian and Infinity Homes put our vision to paper almost instantly as he walked through our house. His vision and insight was incredible, and we knew instantly he would transform our house into a home. It is such an involved process, and yet we never felt worried or uneasy. We truly trusted his knowledge and expertise. It felt like working with family, and we wouldn't change one thing about our renovation,” says Katie.
