A Year of Growth

Dear friends,

It's April--one year since I left corporate America and stepped into a completely new role for me, that of the publisher of Northland Lifestyle. When I took this job on, I hoped to find a community of inspiring, innovative people making their home the best that it can be. I have found just that and I haven't looked back since!

When reflecting on the past year, several great moments come to mind.  I loved being a part of the May Women's issue and showing women that empower women.  Our August kid's issue, hit close to home, literally, as we did several fun activities in my backyard for the photoshoot!  And then there was one of my favorite topics, our Food issue, which was filled with several mouth-watering dishes!  I really can't pick a favorite.

Every story that appears in Northland Lifestyle is special.  This goes for both the editorial and our advertising partners.  We truly care about making Northland Lifestyle inspiring and hyper-local content that you're proud to place on your coffee table. Our issues seem to always come together perfectly--many thanks to our amazing editor, Rachel.

I'd like to thank our partners, both the ones that have been a part of the Northland Lifestyle family for years or that have just joined us in 2019.  We truly have a partnership and I care about each one of their successes. I've created several great relationships that I consider more friendships now.  It warms my heart when I receive emails from local businesses that are thriving because of the connection to the community that we are able to provide. The Northland is a hidden gem and I am so thankful to have a platform that can showcase its growth, charm, and potential. After all, we are just getting started!

As a mom and a business owner, I'm proud to nurture the area where I want to raise my kids.  Thank you for allowing our magazine to be the voice of our neighborhoods. I'm so proud to say I live in the Northland - we are thriving!

Best,

Jeron
