The Abigail E. Keller Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Austin-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting medically fragile and terminally ill children and their families throughout their journey and at end-of-life. Established in 2019 in loving memory of Abigail Elizabeth Keller, the foundation was inspired by Abigail’s courageous battle with a rare genetic disorder and her parents’ commitment to improving the lives of children facing similar challenges. Since its inception, the foundation has provided crucial resources and financial aid to over 165 families, significantly impacting their lives. Its mission includes initiatives like direct family and community grants, support for the Dell Children’s At-Home Hospice Program, and the establishment of Abbey’s House, Central Texas' first pediatric respite/hospice facility.
On August 24, 2024, the foundation will host its 6th Annual Abbey Lights Up COTA Fundraising Gala at the Circuit of The Americas beginning at 5 p.m. This spectacular event will feature culinary delights, music, and entertainment, with auction prizes. Local celebrity Chet Garner will emcee the evening. Proudly supported by partners including COTA, FILO Productions, and William Chris Vineyards among others, this gala is crucial for the foundation's mission to empower families and fund its community outreach programs.
