Achieve a Dancer's Body

Whether you have ballerina dreams or trained experience, these few barre moves will bring out your inner dancer! 

Ballet is a subtle and beautiful way of movement through steps and gestures stretching all the way from the fingertips to the toes. Obtain long lean muscles and improve posture. 

Grab a chair or use the back of your couch! With these few exercises, you can work towards an elegant, graceful and fluid body.   

Attitude Lifts: From a standing position, turn the legs out and lift one leg to hip height behind you with the knee bent. Draw the abdominals in and lift and lower the leg. Keep one arm out to the side in the second or above in fifth position.

Plié: Legs hip-width apart, turn out from the hips, bend your knees slowly, keeping your body straight -backside tucked and lower your hips halfway down to knee level rise up. 

Relevé: In a turned out position rise up to the balls of the toes.
