For nearly two decades, Addi’s Faith Foundation has stood as a symbol of strength, offering comfort and hope to parents and children facing a tough battle against childhood cancer.
Amber and Tony Bender created the organization in honor of their daughter, Addison, whose brave spirit continues to inspire the foundation’s purpose. Their work focuses on helping families manage the everyday challenges that continue even during treatment. The foundation steps in to cover essential living expenses and ease emotional strain so families can focus on what matters most, their child. Whether it is a utility bill, a car payment, or groceries, these simple acts of support create meaningful relief.
Over the years, Addi’s Faith Foundation has grown from a local effort into a nationally recognized source of aid. Since its inception, the foundation has provided assistance to more than 1,200 families and contributed over $1 million in direct support. It also funds important research aimed at advancing treatments and finding cures for childhood cancer, ensuring that families not only receive help today, but are given hope for a brighter tomorrow.
The organization continues to expand thanks to the generosity of the Lake Houston community. Partners such as Elite Hospital Kingwood, MD Anderson, Shamrock Marine, Third Coast Bank, Kids ‘R’ Kids, the Pickle Ball Zone, G&S Tire, Elevations, TER Awaken, and many others play a vital role in sustaining the foundation’s efforts through sponsorships, donations, and volunteer engagements.
Each holiday season, that sense of unity comes to life through the foundation’s beloved Holiday Home Tour, returning December 5th & 6th. The event invites guests into decorated homes while enjoying festive tidings of the season.
Addi’s Faith Foundation continues to evolve with new goals of expansion. With Houston poised to become a national leader in pediatric cancer treatment within the next five years, the foundation has set its sights on reaching new milestones. The immediate goal is to surpass $1 million raised in 2025, paving the way toward a larger vision of generating $10 million annually within the next decade. This growth reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to meet the increasing need for family assistance and research support.
