ADI | Snap One Unveils Episode Extreme Outdoor Speakers Built for Harsh Environments

ADI | Snap One has introduced a rugged new line of Episode Extreme Environment

Speakers, designed to perform in some of the world’s harshest conditions—from steamy

hospitality spaces to sun-soaked patios and even yacht interiors.

Built to marine-grade standards, the new lineup includes 6-inch and 8-inch in-ceiling

speakers and matching replacement grilles in black or white. These speakers are engineered to

endure temperatures up to 90°C (194°F), are IP67-rated for water intrusion, and are even built

to handle hurricane-force winds. With features like a factory-sealed rear enclosure and

hydrophobic PCB coating, they’re well-suited for saunas, pool decks, or any high-heat, high-

moisture space.

“We designed the new Episode Extreme Series speakers to unlock previously unreachable

installations where full waterproofing and heat endurance are non-negotiable,” said Jason

Despite the extreme durability, these speakers still deliver Episode’s signature sound quality,

offering clear, immersive audio. And for integrators, installation is streamlined—they fit existing

Episode rough-in brackets and cutouts, making upgrades easy.
