Adrian Kulp aka Dad or Alive

TV EXECUTIVE

Adrian, a scripted television executive, worked for Adam Sandler and Chelsea Handler for over a decade developing and producing shows such as Rules of Engagement for CBS, The Goldbergs for ABC, and After Lately for E! and booked talent at The Late Late Show on CBS with Craig Ferguson. Adrian was also the inspiration for and Senior Story Producer for Modern Dads on A&E.

DAD BLOGGER

During the writers’ strike, Adrian found himself unexpectedly laid off and home full-time with his 10 week-old daughter. He spent his time focused on family and started blogging about his experiences on ‘Dad or Alive: Confessions of an Unexpected Stay-at-home Dad’.  The blog exploded and he began working with Fortune 500 brands, tourism boards across the nation and was optioned for TV and film last year.

BEST-SELLING AUTHOR

Adrian’s first book, a comedic memoir based on his blog, was published by Penguin/Random House in 2013. Next came a parenting trilogy starting with ‘We’re Pregnant! The First Time Dad’s Pregnancy Handbook,’ which has been an Amazon Bestseller in multiple categories since its debut in 2018 and recently surpassed 250,000 copies sold! He then published ‘We’re Parents!’ chronicling a baby's first year, and ‘We’re Parenting a Toddler," ‘World’s Greatest Dad Jokes’ and coming soon, a potty training guide for first-time fathers.

MUSIC EXECUTIVE

Adrian's wife, Jen, a reality tv executive and consultant, has developed, produced or cast series such as The Real Housewives of NJ and The Little Couple and Killing Fields. After serving as the Senior Executive Producer for the internationally syndicated ‘Ty Bentli Show’ on Nash 103.3, he shifted gears to writing, producing and directing the nationally syndicated ‘Backstage Country’. Adrian has spent time with the likes of Maren Morris, Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan and dozens of other country superstars over the last two years.
