McKaleigh Sofie Durrett has released her newest children’s book, Afternoon Tea, inspired by her son, William Edward Durrett IV, and his two favorite stuffed animals. This whimsical story follows unlikely friends, a wiry Scottish goat and an uppity British rabbit, on a delightful adventure through the Fern Forest.
McKaleigh's passion for storytelling is rooted in her childhood memories of visiting her Oma (grandmother) and listening to British audiobooks before bedtime. She is excited to leave a legacy for her children. Her son’s nursery features books signed by her husband’s grandparents and filled with sweet messages. The bookshelves now include her own works and notes for her son who will soon welcome a sister.
