What advice would you give a young man entering your industry today? Do what you enjoy and are passionate about. As long as you can put your heart into what you do and believe in what you do, you will be successful.
What are your pet peeves in the business workplace?
Being late! I feel the most valuable asset for anyone, both personally and professionally, is their time. Being prompt is a sign of respect and discipline.
How do you destress at the end of a busy day?
Spending time with family and friends, attending my kids' sporting events, going to festivals, concerts, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. Also, a cold Sam Adams is not a bad thing either (shameless plug).
How will you be spending Father's Day this year?
Hopefully with some nice weather heading to Top Golf or having a bunch of friends and family over to the house to cook out and relax.

Day job: I help nonprofits raise money for their amazing missions! As a fundraising auctioneer, my role is to tap into people’s inner generosity, to engage them with the cause, and to make sure they have a great time while doing so!
What advice would you give a young man entering your industry today?
When you’re on that stage in front of hundreds of people, authenticity and passion are key. It is also important to be unique and give guests the chance to feel fully immersed in the nonprofit’s mission.
What are your pet peeves in the business workplace?
Honestly, I don’t have many pet peeves! I’m fortunate enough to work in the nonprofit sector where every single person is there for the greater good.
How do you destress at the end of a busy day?
For me there’s nothing better than simply unwinding in front of the TV, putting on an episode of The Office or a drama series, and just letting the world drift away with escapism!
How will you be spending Father's Day this year?
My newborn will be one month old, so I imagine my wife and I will be walking around like zombies, cocooned in our house, stealing sleep and snacks whenever we can! Nervous but excited!
