We're finally in the hot thick of it. School's out, pools are open, and summer is strumming! This may be the most social summer on record, so we've gathered a bunch of super stuff for everyone: the host/hostesses (Dinner Party), the beach-goers (Totes), the outdoorsy types (Outdoors), and the value hunters (Cheap Buys). Cheap Treats:
Summer stand-out jewelry always matches a white dress and you should toss a cool handbag onto the outfit. Sip your liquids from a fabulous daisy glass while wearing happy pink shoes. Then send your child off to camp with the cutest (and cheapest) lunchbox. Because why not? Everything costs less than $20.
Totes for Towels:
We all carry multiple towels and whatnot to pools, beaches, and other bodies of water. It can be a drag, literally, packing it all in. So get something you enjoy having on your shoulder, something fabulous, which will make all that extra baggage kind of fun.
Outdoor Dining:
Eating al fresco is an opportunity we’re gifted a few months out of the year. Make it colorful, festive, and most important: unbreakable if possible.
Summer Stuff:
It’s the only time of year where self-enjoyment and relaxation are terms we can throw around without fear of reprisal. Play an enormous “board” game, sip a cocktail while sitting on great (waterproof) chairs or - better yet - in a pool! Toy with cat-lovers and take your kids to a beach picnic without worrying about spills on the blanket.
