Celina's own Dorothy Allan of Keller Williams Allan Retail Group got her beginning in commercial real estate in a unique way - dressing up in hazmat suits to take photos and virtual tours of homes for sale. When Covid ended her 10-year retail strategy practice since no one was in stores, she fought back by returning to what she knew, putting her degree in photography to an innovative use.
This got her foot in the door in real estate, and as Dorothy began to strive for more, she earned her license knowing she’d earn far more selling real estate than taking pictures of it. As a business professional with 25 years of experience, her true passion aligned perfectly in the area of commercial real estate.
Now, Allan has connections all over Texas ranging from small business owners and storefronts on the Celina square to large landowners across the state. She is respected and trusted when looking for the perfect location and space tailored to suit businesses in Celina and beyond. She is devoted to her trade and has a heart for this close-knit yet growing community.
Dorothy recently partnered with her daughter Grace in Allan Retail Group since she has seen nearly triple the amount of business coming to her for her skill and years of experience in marketing. Dorothy focuses on the real estate side, while Grace's background in project management allows her to focus on the contracts and paperwork behind the scenes.
When asked what makes Celina special, Dorothy's immediate response is the community. Celina puts great effort to uphold it's motto "Life Connected" and she is a firm believer that it does just that. Allan Retail Group strives to do the same by connecting new businesses they bring to Celina like The Pin Cushion and Terramania to the local community.
